The
Ontario Competitive Fishing Council will serve as a
pro-active entity that will gather and share new information,
address public concerns, work with local, provincial
and federal governments to ensure the future viability
of competitive angling in Ontario, and to promote fishing
in general. It will also develop industry-supported
guidelines for competitive fishing events.
